Frequently asked
Is this investment advice?
No. ETFwise shows you what you already own, look-through to the underlying stock. It doesn't tell you what to buy or sell.
How does “look-through” work?
Every ETF and fund you enter is expanded to its current holdings, then combined with your direct shares into one true position per stock.
Do I need to create an account?
You get a one-time code instead of an email/password login — it's how we save your reports without collecting personal info.
What if I lose my account code?
There's no recovery — we don't have your email to send it to. Save it somewhere safe when you generate it.
What does a report cost?
Your first 3 reports are free. After that, reports start at $0.50 each, cheaper in packs. No subscription, credits never expire.
Which brokerages or funds are supported?
Any publicly traded ETF, mutual fund, or individual stock ticker — you enter holdings manually or upload a CSV.
Privacy

Built to know as little about you as possible.

Your account code is your identity — not your name or email. We designed it this way on purpose.

No email or password
Just a one-time code — nothing tying your account to your identity.
Holdings stay with your code
Reports are attached only to your account code, never to a name.
No ad trackers
No cross-site tracking, no ad pixels, no marketing analytics tied to your portfolio.
Nothing sold, nothing shared
We don't sell data or share holdings with third parties, ever.
ETFwise is not investment advice.
